The hotel features spacious rooms with amenities including free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness centre, and an on-site restaurant. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing garden area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The hotel’s location provides easy access to Zurich’s city centre, with a metro station directly outside the hotel. The surrounding area offers a large shopping centre, IKEA, as well as takeaway restaurants. The stadium is only 8 miles away.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tue 8 July
Arrive in Switzerland, purchasing a flight of your choosing. Make your own way to the 4* Hilton Garden Inn Limmattal. The hotel is a 20-minute taxi or 40-minute metro ride from the airport. Check-in is from 15:00, so why not explore the city beforehand? There’s a metro station directly outside the hotel, so you can reach the city centre in 20-30 minutes.
Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, is a global hub for finance and culture. Nestled on Lake Zurich’s shores, it offers a mix of medieval charm in its old town and modernity in its vibrant districts. Renowned for museums, galleries, and luxury shopping, Zurich seamlessly blends natural beauty with urban sophistication.
Day 2: Wed 9 July
Match Day 2: 18:00 England vs The Netherlands. Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and spend the morning at leisure.Depart your hotel by coach for the exclusive England “Big Bar” pre-match venue (or meet us there!), where you can enjoy pre-match drinks and build up.
When it is time for the match, you will be transported to the stadium in your private coach, with official on-site parking provided.The Stadion Letzigrund, is a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for athletics and football. Opened in 1925 and rebuilt in 2007, it serves as the home ground for FC Zürich and hosts the annual Weltklasse Zürich, a premier athletics event. Its modern design accommodates 26,000 spectators.
After the match, your bus will return you to your hotel.
Day 3: Thu 10 July
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check-out of the hotel in the morning.

- Cancellations – we strongly recommend customers take out travel insurance at time of booking to cover any cancellations. We will endeavour to sell cancelled packages, and should we be successful customers will receive 80% of monies received.
- Name changes – are permitted free of charge until 8 weeks prior to travel. Thereafter, charges may apply
Venue Change or Force Majeure events – should the event be cancelled or moved, due reasons outside Sportsworld’s control, then Sportsworld will not be liable to refund customers for monies paid to suppliers on their behalf. However, we will look to move your booking to the new location with the lowest financial impact to you, or any monies that are recovered from suppliers in such circumstances will be returned if you decide not to accept the new travel arrangements.
