6th – 8th: 3* Hotel Olten

Hotel Olten is a charming and contemporary hotel located in the heart of the town. Olten is well connected to larger Swiss cities including Zurich, Basel, and Bern, via the extensive Swiss railway network, making the hotel an excellent base for exploring the region between matches. The central location also allows easy access to Olten’s picturesque surroundings, including scenic walking and cycling paths along the Aare River, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The hotel is also across the river from an outdoor lido, and the historic Old Town, where visitors can explore local shops, cafes, and cultural sites.

8th – 10th: 4* Hilton Garden Inn

The Hilton Garden Inn is a modern, well-appointed hotel located in west Zurich. The hotel features spacious rooms with amenities including free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness centre, and an on-site restaurant. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing garden area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The hotel’s location provides easy access to Zurich’s city centre, with a metro station directly outside the hotel. The surrounding area offers a large shopping centre, IKEA, as well as takeaway restaurants.

10th – 12th: *3* Hotel Olten

Return to the 3* Hotel Olten between Match 2 & 3 to enjoy the activities you may not have had time for during the first stay.

12th – 14th: 3* B&B Hotel St Gallen

B&B Hotel St. Gallen is a modern hotel whose location provides easy access to St. Gallen’s vibrant city centre, home to the UNESCO-listed Abbey of St. Gallen, a historic site with stunning Baroque architecture and a world-renowned library. The surrounding area offers a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as green spaces like the nearby Drei Weieren (Three Ponds) – ideal for outdoor activities.

Day 1: Fri 4 July

Meet the Sportsworld team at London Victoria Coach Station. Depart on our Sportsworld private coach to your hotel in Zurich, via Dover ferry crossing.

In the late evening, check-in to the Intercity Zurich Airport Hotel. This 4* property offers stylish, comfortable rooms with amenities including free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and fitness facilities. Guests can enjoy the proximity to Zurich’s vibrant city centre, where they can explore the renowned Bahnhofstrasse shopping street, the picturesque Old Town (Altstadt), and the scenic shores of Lake Zurich.

Day 2: Sat 5 July – Match day 1: 21:00 France vs England

Match Day 1: 21:00 France vs. England. Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, the guests who booked their own flights to Zurich will link up with us at the hotel for check-in.

Depart your hotel by coach for the exclusive England “Big Bar” pre-match venue, where you can enjoy pre-match drinks and build up. When it is time for the match, you will be transported to the stadium in your private coach, with official on-site parking provided.

The Stadion Letzigrund, is a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for athletics and football. Opened in 1925 and rebuilt in 2007, it serves as the home ground for FC Zürich and hosts the annual Weltklasse Zürich, a premier athletics event. Its modern design accommodates 26,000 spectators.

After the match, your bus will return you to your hotel.

Day 3: Sun 6 July

In the late morning, check out and depart for Olten. Check-in to Hotel Olten in the mid-afternoon. Hotel Olten is a charming and contemporary 3* property located in the heart of the town. The town is well connected to larger Swiss cities including Zurich, Basel, and Bern, via the extensive Swiss railway network, making the hotel an excellent base for exploring the region between matches.

Olten is a picturesque town located at the confluence of the Aare and Oltenbach rivers. Known for its strategic transport hub, it boasts a significant railway station connecting all the major Swiss cities, ideal for exploring the beauty of Switzerland in your free time between matches.

The town features charming historic architecture, vibrant streets, and access to nearby forests and hiking trails. There’s also an outdoor public swimming pool/lido across the river from the Hotel Olten, and locals also swim in the river itself!

Day 4: Mon 7 July

Enjoy a free day to explore Olten or nearby cities (all reachable by short train rides): Basel, Bern, and Zurich, at your leisure.

Day 5: Tue 8 July – Travel Day

Check out of your hotel in the late morning and return to Zurich. Arrive at the 4* Hilton Garden Inn Zurich in the afternoon for check-in.

Day 6: Wed 9 July – Match Day 2: 18:00 England vs. Netherlands

It’s match day! Depart your hotel for the match via our official Big Bar for the pre-match buildup. Transfers and official on-site parking at the stadium will be provided once again.

Day 7: Thu 10 July

Check out of your Zurich hotel return to Olten. Check-in back into the 3* Hotel Olten.

Day 8: Fri 11 July

Enjoy a free day to explore Olten or nearby cities (all reachable by short train rides): Basel, Bern, and Zurich, at your leisure.

Day 9: Sat 12 July

Check-out of your hotel and transfer to St Gallen. Check-in to the 3* B&B Hotel St Gallen in the afternoon. This modern hotel is located just a short distance from the city centre. The surrounding area offers a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as green spaces like the nearby Drei Weieren (Three Ponds) – ideal for outdoor activities.

Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring the city. St. Gallen is a charming city renowned for its UNESCO-listed Abbey of Saint Gall, featuring a stunning baroque cathedral and a historic library. Nestled between Lake Constance and the Alpstein mountains, it offers a blend of cultural heritage, academic excellence, and natural beauty, making it a popular destination.

Day 10: Sun 13 July – Match Day 3: 21:00 England v Wales

Today is the last group match! Depart your hotel for the match via our official Big Bar for the pre-match buildup. Transfers and official on-site parking at the stadium will be provided once again.

The Arena St. Gallen, officially known as kybunpark, is a multifunctional stadium in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Opened in 2008, it serves as the home ground for FC St. Gallen, Switzerland’s oldest football club. With a capacity of 19,694, it hosts sports events, concerts, and cultural gatherings, blending modern architecture and functionality.

Day 11: Mon 14 July

It’s time to return to the UK. Check-out of the hotel and depart for Calais early in the morning, which will return you to London Victoria Coach Station in the late evening.
