Lions 2013 HSBC Travel & Hospitality Programme - Sportsworld

LIONS 2013 HSBC HOSPITALITY & TRAVEL

The Brief

        • Act as an extension of the Fast Track / HSBC team to deliver HSBC’s travel and hospitality programme in Hong Kong and Australia over 4 key matches
        • Work with Fast Track to creating a travel and hospitality platform to complement other HSBC Group activations around the sponsorship of the British & Irish Lions Team to facilitate HSBC to build stronger relationships with core target customers, enhance corporate reputation, engage employees to generate pride and deliver greater commercialisation to drive business

Our Response

  • A core dedicated account team worked closely with the Fast Track from appointment to ensure a coordinated and succinct approach in programme planning through to the programme delivery
  • Sportsworld handled all tour time logistics for the programme, specifically all hotel & transport management, guest communications, interface and management as well as recruiting and managing the onsite delivery teams in each city
  • Sportsworld managed all guest communications in the final one month of planning and on-site including the management of guest data through HSBC’s own guest registration system

THE RESULTS

TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY PROGRAMMES DELIVERED

CITIES WORKED ACROSS

“Sportsworld have been so professional, so effective and so easy to work with on the Lions project… I haven’t really seen them as another agency, rather a genuine part of the team.”
