Hotels will be arranged after the draw in December 2024. At this stage, we can guarantee all our ‘Standard’ hotels will be comparable in quality to Ibis/Holiday Inn Express properties. Rooms will be clean, comfortable, and feature private bathrooms.

This itinerary is based on England being drawn in Group A, and is purely indicative. The match schedule and itinerary is subject to change.
| Day 1: Tue 1 July | Meet the Sportsworld team at London Victoria Coach Station. Depart on our Sportsworld private coach, via English Channel crossing, to your hotel in Basel. |
| Day 2: Wed 2 July |
Match Day 1: Switzerland vs. England. Enjoy breakfast in your hotel and spend the morning at leisure. Depart your hotel by coach for the exclusive England “Big Bar” pre-match venue, where you can enjoy pre-match drinks and excitement. When it is time for the match, you will be guided to the stadium. St. Jakob-Park is Switzerland’s premier stadium and will host the Final. Home to FC Basel, it boasts a seating capacity of around 39,000. After the match, your coach will be waiting for you where you were dropped off to return you to your hotel. |

In the late morning, check out and depart for Olten. Check in to your hotel upon arrival in the mid-afternoon. Olten is a picturesque town located at the confluence of the Aare and Oltenbach rivers. Known for its strategic transport hub, it boasts a significant railway station connecting all the major Swiss cities, ideal for exploring the beauty of Switzerland in your free time between matches. The town features charming historic architecture, vibrant streets, and access to nearby forests and hiking trails. Olten’s rich cultural scene includes local events and festivals showcasing Swiss traditions. |
| Day 4: Fri 4 July | Enjoy a free day to explore Olten or nearby cities (all reachable by short train rides): Basel, Bern, and Zurich, at your leisure. |

Travel Day. Check out of your hotel in the late morning and transfer to Sion. Arrive at your new hotel in Sion in the afternoon for check-in. Sion is the capital of the Valais canton in Switzerland, renowned for its rich history and stunning landscapes. Nestled between the Rhone Valley and the Alps, it boasts a charming old town with well-preserved medieval architecture, including the iconic Valère Basilica and Tourbillon Castle. Sion is also a gateway to the region’s vineyards, known for producing excellent wines, particularly white varieties. With access to outdoor activities like skiing (not in the summer!), hiking, and biking, Sion offers a perfect blend of urban life and nature, making it a popular destination. |
| Day 6: Sun 6 July | Match Day 2: England vs. TBC. It’s match day again! Depart your hotel for the match via our official Big Bar for the pre-match buildup. Stade de Tourbillon is a historic stadium in Sion, Switzerland, primarily used for football. Home to FC Sion, it features a seating capacity of approximately 16,000 and is surrounded by stunning mountain views. |
| Day 7: Mon 7 July |
Check out of your hotel in the morning and transfer to Lausanne. Lausanne, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is a vibrant city in Switzerland known for its picturesque landscapes and cultural richness. It’s home to the Olympic Museum, celebrating the city’s status as the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee. The city’s historic old town features stunning architecture, including the Gothic Lausanne Cathedral. With a lively arts scene, numerous festivals, and a bustling nightlife, Lausanne attracts students and tourists alike, thanks to its prestigious universities and diverse dining options. The nearby vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage site, add to the city’s charm, offering beautiful views and exquisite wines. |

Check out of your Lausanne hotel and transfer to Thun. Check in to your Thun hotel. Thun is a charming town in Switzerland, located at the meeting point of Lake Thun and the Aare River. Renowned for its stunning alpine backdrop, Thun features a picturesque old town with narrow streets, historic buildings, and the impressive Thun Castle, which offers panoramic views. The town is a hub for outdoor activities, including hiking and water sports, thanks to its beautiful lakeside setting. Thun’s vibrant cultural scene includes galleries, theatres, and seasonal festivals. |
| Day 10: Thu 10 July | Match Day 3: England vs. TBC. Today is the last group match! Depart your hotel for the match via our official Big Bar for the pre-match buildup. Arena Thun is a multi-purpose sports venue, primarily used for ice hockey and concerts. Home to the SC Thun ice hockey team, the arena features modern facilities and a seating capacity of 10,000 for the match. |

On the basis England qualify for the knock-outs, the trip will continue in similar fashion to the above. As and when England are eliminated, the bus will return to the UK, potentially as early as the following morning.
Partial Refunds ➡️
The advertised price of £5,995 per person on double/twin occupancy is based on the potential maximum package duration of 27 nights – this scenario would occur if England are drawn into Group A, and reach the Final.
Depending on the Group England are drawn into, and how far our Lionesses progress, the tour could last as few as 10 nights. Based on England being drawn into Group A, partial refunds for each elimination scenario will be paid; the following prices shown are the total prices you will pay for the tour, should England be knocked out earlier than the Final:

- Cancellations – we strongly recommend customers take out travel insurance at time of booking to cover any cancellations. We will endeavour to sell cancelled packages, and should we be successful customers will receive 80% of monies received.
- Name changes – are permitted free of charge until 8 weeks prior to travel. Thereafter, charges may apply.
- Venue Change or Force Majeure events – should the event be cancelled or moved, due reasons outside Sportsworld’s control, then Sportsworld will not be liable to refund customers for monies paid to suppliers on their behalf. However, we will look to move your booking to the new location with the lowest financial impact to you, or any monies that are recovered from suppliers in such circumstances will be returned if you decide not to accept the new travel arrangements.
