Qatar is a peninsular Arab country where most of the citizens are Muslim, so what does this mean for drinking alcohol at the World Cup?
Alcohol isn’t illegal in Qatar, but there is zero tolerance for drinking in public, and being drunk in public is a crime. As long as you consider your surroundings & local customs (and are over the age of 21) you will be able to enjoy a drink on your travels.
Alcoholic drinks will be available within FIFA Fan Fest™, licensed hotels & bars and there is a lot to choose from. See below for our top picks.
