BMW LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES

The Brief

  • Overall remit to design, create and manage hospitality programs for BMW’s VIP Executives, International Markets, UK Dealerships, plus other BMW Group brands, Rolls Royce and MINI.
  • Act as extension of BMW UK Events team to manage hospitality package sales process and subsequent coordination of all BMW Groups markets/guests.
  • Create a platform to complement other BMW Group activations around the Olympic and Paralympic Games to engage customers and employee’s, improve Dealer performance, boost brand image and enhance corporate reputation.

Our Response

  • 85 hospitality program waves were created (3 night, 2 night, 1 night & hosted day) to match stakeholder / market program requirements enabling guests to gain first hand the BMW Group Olympic hospitality experience
  • Sportsworld’s dedicated Guest Services team managed the relationship with the BMW Group guest groups from the initial interest in the program through to program delivery

 

  • Sportsworld handled all operations including invitations and on-line registrations; airport meet and greet services; transportation & accommodation; hosting and event venue logistics; food and beverage; Olympic event tickets; BMW’s exclusive suite within the Olympic Hospitality Centre, BMW Group Experiences, gifts, accreditation management for all BMW representatives, programme extensions and ad hoc requests; post-event reporting and guest feedback
