Frequently Asked Questions
Wimbledon Tickets
When will I receive my tickets?
For security reasons Sportsworld will not send your tickets by mail. You will be handed all your tickets personally in the Sportsworld Fairway Village. It is very important that you keep your Wimbledon tickets safe as we are unable to issue replacements.
Can I select my court on the day?
Tickets are purchased as part of a package in advance, so it is not possible to change them on the day. Split packages (i.e. a mixture of Centre Court and Number One Court tickets) are available in advance if required.
What happens if it rains on the day that I have hospitality at Wimbledon?
The Fairway Village facilities are open all day regardless of the weather. The tickets are non replaceable or refundable in the case of rain. However, historically only one day every four years is entirely lost to the weather. On average 4 out of 5 days are rain free. If there is less than one hour's play, Sportsworld will refund the face value of the ticket only; if there is more than one hour's play, but less than two hours' play, refunds will be limited to half the face value of the ticket.
Where will my seats be at Wimbledon?
Given Sportsworld's long-standing Wimbledon Championships appointment since 1992, our official seats have traditionally been very well located on all the show courts offered. Centre Court tickets come in pairs as a minimum. The specific seat positions are not known until closer to the tournament, but generally all tickets are within the first 15 rows. Court No. 1 tickets are sold in blocks and are usually in rows N, O, P & Q.
Can I request certain seats?
When speaking to our Wimbledon team you may request certain preferences and we will do out best to accommodate these, although we cannot guarantee specific location of seats.
Can I purchase 'tickets only' through Sportsworld?
Sportsworld is prohibited by the All England Club to provide tickets in isolation; our contract is such that we offer tickets as part of a Wimbledon hospitality or tours programme. Tickets only can be purchased via public ballot. An application form for this can be requested from the All England Club in writing from between August and mid -December for the following year's Wimbledon Championships.
