The match schedule for the British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa 2009 has been confirmed. The much anticipated tour will include three Test matches against the Springboks, with the first Test taking place on Saturday, 20 June 2009 in Durban.
The Lions will play ten matches in seven cities over a period of six weeks, commencing with a game against the Highveld XV in Rustenburg on Saturday, 30 May 2009.
The Test matches against the Springboks will take place on 20 June in Durban, in Pretoria on 27 June and in Johannesburg on 4 July.

We are working hard to finalise the details of our tour and hospitality packages. Fans will remember only too well, the triumphant Tour in 1997 when The Lions clinched a thrilling test series. The combination of The Lions taking on the current world champions and all the natural delights that South Africa has to offer will make this Tour the most exciting yet.
