Official Ticket and Tour Operator for Delhi 2010

Sportsworld is delighted to have been appointed again as an official Ticket and Tour Operator for England and Australia for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Delhi is the 7th consecutive Commonwealth Games at which Sportsworld has operated programmes and we look forward to welcoming you to India this October.

Experience Delhi 2010

The 2010 Games will be staged in the heart of Delhi for the very first time. England will be taking a team of upto 560 athletes to compete across the programme's 17 sports, so whether it's the excitement of the swimming, the high flying of the gymnasts or the spectacle of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, excitement and energy will pervade the city.

New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city in India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Standing along the West End of the Gangetic Plain, India's capital is sprinkled with glittering gems: captivating ancient monuments, magnificent museums, a vivacious performing arts centre and some of the subcontinent’s most wonderful places to eat. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts (Old Delhi and New Delhi), the city is a travel hub of Northern India.

The best time to travel to North India is from October - March, with daytime temperatures between 21 and 30°C (70-86°F).
So enjoy the spectacular Games, perfect weather and the abundance of festivals and cultural events that take place in Delhi at this time of year.

Leisure Tour packages

Leisure Tour packages offer guests the flexibility of choosing the events you want to see yet include accommodation, airport transfers and the services of Sportsworld staff for the duration of your stay.

Ticket only

Ticket only allows individuals to request 'tickets only' for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, for the events of your choice.
Ticket only and tickets to accompany Leisure Tour packages are now available for request using our on-line request system, which also allows you to manage your account online.

Please note: whilst we hope this is a final session plan, the organising committee in Delhi do hold the right to change, cancel or update any of these events should they deem it necessary. As this is the official Event Schedule, it should be kept up-to-date by Delhi 2010.
