The brief

  • The brief was to provide a weekend event as part of an annual incentive scheme, to prize-winners from local distribution companies (158 guests)

  • Overnight accommodation, a formal sit down dinner and client entertainment were key features of the weekend

Our response

  • Sportsworld strived to provide guests with a memorable, quality experience within tight budget restrictions

  • Pre-event organisation was key in determining the success of the event, and due to time limitations during the weekend, detailed planning of the itinerary was crucial

  • The weekend guest experience included:
    - Return Eurostar travel
    - Four star overnight accommodation
    - A three hour River Seine lunch cruise
    - Moulin Rouge dinner and show experience
    - Eiffel Tower Tour
    - Time at leisure for shopping and exploring

  • Experienced, knowledgeable local staff were employed to assist the Sportsworld Event Management team during the weekend

The results

  • The efforts that went into organising and executing the weekend was clearly appreciated by the client, with some excellent feedback given

  • Sportsworld are already in the planning stages for a series of horse-racing events during the Autumn
