The brief

  • Exclusive hospitality appointment to ensure the delivery of outstanding experiences for over 2,000 guests at British Tennis Series events including the AEGON Championships

Our response

  • Sportsworld managed all guest invitations and registrations via bespoke branded websites and a dedicated contact centre

  • Drawing on the company’s core values of bright, clear and deep, we created the AEGON brand experience, in keeping with their market positioning as ‘refreshingly different’

  • From supplier meetings and food tastings to onsite set-up and welcoming guests, the Sportsworld team displayed meticulous planning, creative thinking and consistency of brand activation

The results

  • Transparent management reporting to inform hospitality ROI:
    - 97% asset utilisation (event tickets and hospitality packages)
    - 100% guest and host satisfaction (rating their overall AEGON Experience as good or excellent)
    - Strong internal business justification: 94% of hosts felt their objectives were completely met
    - Positive external validation: 78% of guests felt their relationship with AEGON has been strengthened

  • Sportsworld re-appointed until 2013 to co-ordinate hospitality across an extended portfolio including AEGON Masters Tennis
